Learn to Snorkel

Join our talented instructors on an underwater adventure in the water park. This class is perfect for families going away on holidays, or for anyone looking to master the basics of snorkeling before heading out into open water. The class will include information on how to fit a mask, use fins, as well as the opportunity to try out equipment in various water depths. This is recommended for anyone who has completed Swimmer 2 or equivalent and will involve both shallow and deep water.

River Resistance Circuit

Harness the power of water and learn to manipulate the liquid gym to improve fitness or add another dimension to your existing exercise routine. This 1-hour long class will feature a variety of resistance training stations using the Lazy River, Activity Pool and Wave Pool in Adventure Bay Family Water Park. Classes will include a warm-up, cardiovascular conditioning, strength and muscle toning, as well as cool down and stretch. This class is a medium to high intensity class and is not recommended for beginner aqua fit participants.

Wave Babies

This unique swim class for parents and tots (6-18 months) is a great combination of fitness and fun for everyone. Each 45 minute class includes an aquafit workout for parents that is fun and interactive for them and their child. Prerequisite: Ages 6 - 18 months; Note: one parent and one child per class.

 Go with the FlowRider

There's something for everyone at Adventure Bay Family Water Park presented by WFCU Credit Union.
Participants for FlowRider programs must be 48 inches tall and sign a waiver. Participants under 18 years of age must have their parent/guardian review and sign the waiver. Please note FlowRider is a high-thrill attraction.
 All sessions will offer the opportunity for stand up FlowRider only. All new riders will receive a lesson during the times noted below. Regular water park admission rates, including active Adventure Bay memberships, apply for all class times.  A new rider is considered a rider who has not been approved (signed off) for stand-up FlowRider during regular hours.
Please be advised that stand up FlowRider is not permitted during regular public hours unless at least two of the below classes have been attended and a competency checklist has been signed off by one of our FlowRider instructors.
Surf's Up Mondays and Wednesdays
All Abilities: 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Cost is $10 per person or an active Adventure Bay membership. All interested new riders must register at the front desk.
Surf's Up Saturdays and Sundays
New riders: 9 - 10 a.m.
All abilities: 10 a.m. to  12 p.m.
New riders do not need to register for 9 a.m. classes, however new riders must arrive prior to 9:30 a.m. in order to receive the lesson until 10 a.m. regular water park admission or an active Adventure Bay membership. Parent and Tot / Preschool Swimming Lessons

Parent & Tot and Preschool swimming lessonsfor children age 5 years and under are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays throughout the academic year.
