Water Park Rules

Who can supervise guests?
A supervising (responsible) person is required depending on the ages of guests.
When in doubt - think safety. We rely on parents and guardians to make appropriate and safe choices for the family and friends they are bringing to the water park. Additional supervision is always strongly encouraged - plus we think Adventure Bay is a fun place to be.
A supervising (responsible) person age 13 and up is required depending on the ages of guests.
Participants aged 5 and under must have:
- Maximum 2 participants per supervising (responsible) person
- Participants must be supervised in the facility at all times with the supervising (responsible) person being on the water park floor at all times, within close proximity to the participants, and in appropriate bathing attire. You will get wet.
- Each supervising (responsible) person can supervise up to 2 participants aged 5 and under.
- The supervising (responsible) person is required to pay regular water park admission.
Participants ages 6 through 9 must have:
- Maximum 8 participants per supervising (responsible) person
- Participants must be supervised in the facility with the supervising (responsible) person being on the water park floor at all times and in appropriate bathing attire.
- Direct supervision is strongly recommended and the supervising (responsible) person should be aware of the swimming ability, activity level, and maturity of the participants they are overseeing.
- A minimum of one supervising (responsible) person for every 8 participants aged 6 through 9 is required.
- The supervising (responsible) person is required to pay regular water park admission and will be required to be within arms' reach of guests who are under 1.21 metres (48 inches) tall when in the Lazy River and Wave Pool.
Participants aged 10 and 11 must have:
- Participants must be supervised in the facility with the supervising (responsible) person being within the water park floor area or viewing area(s) at all times.
- Direct supervision is strongly recommended.
- The supervising (responsible) person can pay full admission or the Land Lover admission.
Participants aged 12 and up must have:
General Water Park Rules
The following rules are posted at the entrance of the water park, and each change room. It is your responsibility to be aware of these rules, and to adhere to them at all times during your visit.
Please read and obey all posted signage.
Lifeguards are on site for your safety. They do not replace the supervision provided by parents/grandparents/guardians. We rely on parents/grandparents/guardians to make appropriate and safe choices for the family and friends they are bringing to the water park. When in doubt - think safety.
Please follow the admission and supervisory ratio information outlined in the section above.
No glass, cigarettes, and/or outside food are permitted in the water park. If you'd like to bring your own food we have seating areas available in both our upper and lower level Atrium areas as well as outside of Cannon Cove.
Anyone appearing to be impaired by alcohol or drugs will not be permitted into the water park.
Pregnant women and those with a history of heart or back problems should not use the slides.
Failure to follow rules and instructions can lead to serious injury; if you violate rules and instructions, you may be asked to leave the water park.
Proper swim attire must be worn at the water park. Swim attire should not have any metal parts that could damage slides or cause serious injury.
